UPI based Payment service offered by WhatsApp (WhatsApp Payment) delayed due to some actions taken by Government of India. Government just informed to setup office space and staffs to start the Payment service, otherwise Government may not give permission.
Also Government give direction to contact Reserve Bank of India for further details. So WhatsApp Payment will delay to start. Now WhatsApp remove the beta stamp from the profile. HDFC and Axis bank are added as Payment partners in WhatsApp Payment.
