UIDAI introduce a new feature of lock/ unlock biometric details of Aadhaar card. It means that if we lock the biometric details, no one can access our details by Aadhaar number until we unlock it.

For enabling this feature
Step 1 : logon to https://uidai.gov.in

Step 2: click Lock or unlock biometrics https://resident.uidai.gov.in/biometric-lock

Step 3 : Enter Aadhaar number

Step 4 : Enter security code given below

Step 5 : press OTP button

Step 6 : Enter the OTP received in the registered mobile number

Now you can see the options to lock or unlock details.

Note: Once you lock your biometrics, you should not used it any institutions such as Bank, Mobile sim varification center etc.

Step : 1 – Login to https://uidai.gov.in/ 

Step : 2 – Click https://resident.uidai.gov.in/bank-mapper

Step : 3 – give the Aadhaar number in the selected field

Step: 4 – Enter the security code given below

Step: 5 – Now press OTP Button

Then an OTP number is received from UIDAI to the registered mobile number.

Step: 6 – Give the OTP to the field

Then you can find the last linked Bank Account details to your Aadhaar number.
